Smile New(er) member in central Ohio

Hi, my name is John. I'm located west of Delaware, Ohio. Grew up with my dad's 122. We used it to mow, plow, disc and harrow our huge garden. Right now, I have a 106 with a 44" deck and a 4' snow blade. Thought I got a good deal, but soon found out the previous owner made a mess of several things. So far I've replaced a front spindle and wheel, a working deck lift lever, the wiring harness, voltage regulator and soon the starter generator. I've changed the fluids, tuned it up, installed headlight (led bulbs) tail lights, and a rear lift hitch.
I've always wanted a cub and now I have one. Hoping to get a hydro cub at some point and a crawler gear for the 106 in the future. That and some equipment!
I have been a Gravely guy for awhile and still have two walk behinds, a C and a C8 plus a bunch of parts and attachments.
Thanks for having me!
John

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
