Local show pics
I went to a show today near Rushville, IN. The feature tractor was Oliver and there were around 35 steam tractors there. I didn’t get many pics but I did get some of the more rare and unusual pieces.

Anyone ever hear of a Rockol tractor? Only one of them I’ve ever seen.

Only time I have been around that many steamers was when we went to Mt Pleasant Iowa---if you like OLD iron that is a must attend event. 20 year ago I don't think they allowed any tractor newer than WWII.
Heard of the Rockol. There is a whole group of tractors from the 50's about the size of a Farmall M. They are quite the oddball group. Ever hear of a Gibson that size? Dad put the engine together for one--it was delivered to him in boxes. Look up a Corbitt tractor some time made in Henderson NC, only about 50 were made, about an hour from here. Never seen a Ferrari but I have seen a few of the Porsche tractors.

One of the most unique things there was a tiny tractor built from a Ford Model T. It was less than 3’ wide and had steel wheels. It was hooked to a grain drill that was used to plant wheat between corn rows in the days when corn was harvested by hand. The old timer who owned it said his grandfather built it and he even had a picture of his grandfather using it in the 1930’s. Wish I would’ve gotten some pics of it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
