Default 2182 Rear Suitcase Weight Bracket 190-447-100

Hello Forum

I am in need of a scarce part and have checked the usual part suspects for it, this is why I come here to you all - hat in hand - to ask your help.

I haven't been the most popular person here in the past and I apologize for my part in everything that went down here that I was involved in. So I am asking that bygones be bygones and possibly help me out.

I am need of Rear Suitcase Weight Bracket - 190-447-100, new or used. I plowed last year and the rear end was too light. I will fill the tires as a last resort but prefer to go this route. No wheel weights sets were made for this.

Anyone who chooses to help out in any way, I appreciate it.

Tim

Wheel weights for any GT will fit. Fill the tires is your best bet. The bracket is available at https://www.ihccw.com/newitems.html?product_id=1047

Wheel weights: https://www.google.com/search?q=cub+...hrome&ie=UTF-8

I called IHCCW, like I alluded to in my post. His web page listing has a listing but says "call for availability". I called - It isn't available.
The wheel weights from Cub will only work if you drill the wheels. They are not a direct fit, according to my dealer.
Right wheel size. Wrong bolt pattern. Looks like If I don't find the bracket soon I will be getting my drill out.

Thanks for replying.

The wheels are already drilled. You should have 4 square holes that the carriage bolts fit into. You put the bolts in from the back side of the wheel.

I think the weights that Tim is speaking of (new and available from CC) use a different bolt pattern for mounting. the webing in the new wheels they fit (XT3) looks different than 2182 wheels I know.
However there should be some older sets out there that would fit these wheels. a google search showed a nice set on ebay (in PA tim - yes I understand PA is a large state "glen mills" if it helps) for local pick up at 125 for the set - those are the same ones that are on my 2182.

Parts by jeff may be able to fab you something up. I would do it if it did not involve me taking my three point off to check fitment on my own 2182. anything I did would work but look like a hack job! LOL

Go to your local Kubota dealer and buy some wheel weights for a BX, problem solved.

The weight set I was thinking of is part # 190-784.
Those weights on eBay would probably be great but Glen Mills is aa 8 hour round trip without stops but with the wife and dogs with me, that would turn into a 12 hour safari! Thanks, I have another kind to look for now.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
