Welcome Jenn! I think Allens fever is rubbing off on you. The only cure for it is more Cubs!

Thanks fellas! I appreciate all the great welcomes. I think I will stick with this one for now. I will let Allen be the one to get any more future cubs. I'm hoping we will stick with the three we have now.

Welcome Jenn, nice to meet you. My wife doesn't understand about these lil tractors. I want to get rid of my LT1046 and get a newer 2500 or 3500 series she asked why can't we just get a lawnmower. We have have to mow about 3 arces of grass each week! it kills regular mowers!!

Oh I can't believe the difference my Cub does verses my old Snapper mower. The yard looks so much better. There really is a difference. I never would have thought it. Plus it took hardly any time to mow. Much faster!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
