Very sorry for your loss Tim. I've been through the same a few times myself.
Give yourself some time to get over the loss and please reconsider. There is a rescue dog out there somewhere that deserves to have somebody like you take care of it. |

Sorry to hear of your loss, Tim. It is important to remember all the good that came out to having a dog than to reflex on what just happened. I can agree with all the others about rescue dogs......there is new friend waiting someday.

Tim I definitely understand the way you are feeling we have all gone through it but life just is not the same without dogs. Especially for the kids. Having a dog can teach them so much. Give it some time and see what happens. Sorry for your loss.

Very sorry for your loss. I was fortunate that both my labs lived to be almost 13, had no health issues. They were a few years apart, and both were fine in the morning, then progressively became more lame throughout the day, until they couldn't pick up their head by afternoon. It was very quick and we didn't have to wonder if it was time to take either of them to the vet. Didn't make it easier, and I swore I was done with dogs too. Now, looking at my 9 year old yellow lab, and 4 year old black lab. Never regretted it.

Yup I had to put my chocolate lab mix down a year ago and I have 2 cats courtesy of my wife, they are alright and at current I am trying to convince her that we need another lab. Have had 2 of them at a time for many years and hate being dog-less

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
