Pulled this from behind a friends shed. It had been sitting several years. Rebuilt the carburetor new plug and blew out a couple pounds of mouse houses and it starts and drives. I had to rig a fuel tank, I was able to buy a used one from this site I tried to up load a video of it running but couldn’t

Yesterday, I hauled 1,400 lbs of patio pavers with the 129 and homemade 1-ton cart from the barn to the path I’m building from the house to the barn. The tires didn’t pop, so it passed the stress test.

I used the Agri-Fab rake to rake the stone driveway after a recent storm washed huge gullies in it. Also did the bottom of the neighbor's driveway and the street in front of both. This might be the best implement purchase I've ever made. Love this thing!

Come home and planned an engine swap between a 122 and 123

Pulled engine for rebuild!
Tonight, I checked the valve tappet clearance on my IH Cub Cadet’s Kohler K161 7hp engine and found it to be in the close enough range and don’t think that is why it makes flames in the muffler. The motor also runs pretty high and won’t idle. So I removed the engine so that I can rebuild it this Winter. This will be my first time rebuilding a motor. I plan on using the ultimate rebuild kit from isavetractors.com.

122 headlights
Figured it was past time to get the wiring done for my 122 lights since it came on the tractor but just never got around to hooking it back up after a refresh a couple years ago. Well first headlight came on and looks great. Second one came on, smoked then went out. Darn 60 year old bulbs anyway. Robbed parts out of license plate light to fix the taillight, the bottom of the light socket was missing.

I cleared the clogged gas line on my 122. Put on a new shift knob, removed the wheels and took them to the tire dealer for new ag tires on rear and 3 rib tires on the front. Replaced the torn seat with a new one.

Do you use a battery cut-off switch on your vintage Cub Cadet? If so, what kind do you use?
