I think this is an AWESOME idea! I cant wait to see the progress you make on it..should be one bad dude when all is said and done. These types of "re-power" post are some of the coolest on the site.
Wonder what kind of engine I should replace the locked up K181 in my "O" with..

OK youngins, let's play, ball in my cort! ELECTRICAL: all componets,&wire together for build, picture has schematic (hidden, so feds who git U for removing tags from funiture, and smack U for dising OSHA !!!) & methos won't have a murmer, or fit! the wires to all components are 12ga. copper, the batt. +,- all 8-10 ga. will mechanicly place Batt. close to the starter solenoid, as possible. Electronic Physics rule, the lenght of a conductor & it's diameter/material, effect resistance to current flow!!! At higher frequencys, voltage can also run on the out side of the conductor, but thats mostly Microwave, which we will at a later time can query!!! (If I git the diesel moving that fast) I will use the oil switch sensor/light on dash, current amp.meter, remove HR. meter install temp. guage, using sensor on motor!

Radiator from a t1600 kubota tractor, solves cooling part of mechanical needs!! Tune in for further mid games, (old man who started building race cars at 16,verses young folk) !!! PS: today is my B-DAY it was 51 years ago I built my first race machine!!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
