Got to use my blower today. Looks like i need to tighten up the steering a bit. Hard to keep a straight line. Got the front light mounted to the top of the cab. I'll work on the back two tomorrow and then start some wiring.

I wanted a floor mat, so I cut one out from a sams club 3 x 5ft mat. Lots of iteration with card board, the I cut the real thing. Didn't turn out exactly like I wanted, but I still have enough material to cut it out again. Just got to get it good enough. The enemy of good isn't bad, it's perfect. I removed the hydro pedals and then traced the outline from the bottom. then removed and cut.

Kinda already have number 3. My dad said I could have it. Just not ready to do anything with a 2000 series. What I would like is a red 682 or 782.

The new to me 3165 moved it's first significant snow this AM. And I have most of the new wiring done. Still need to wire in the rear lights. Found a nice box with 6 circuits.

Got both of the tractors out for a photo now that the winter is breaking. Got the 3185 to run well enough to pull a yard cart with kids around the house. PTO still doesn't work, but that's ok. They all match up nice. I have another front hitch for the 3185, so I can put the blade on that to push dirt and such. Or pull a cart or 3pt hitch work.

Hope yall don't mind me posting in this thread yet. I have just been using this kind of like a log. Shows my progress and modifications and such.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
