Default Custom retromod 120ish

Well it’s been a while since I was on here. I got into some other hobbies but I’m back in the cub game again. I’ve done restoration, I’ve done the pulling tractor scene and I’ve refurbed good original stuff. Now it’s time to do one I’ve always wanted, something that combines my 2 favorite genres of narrow frames. I’ve got 3 parts tractors a 70 a 71 and a 122. All have major issues but together I think it’ll be pretty cool. So if you want to watch along I’ll post up some pics. The 70 was really complete but not running. I talked to the guy he said it just died so I figured heck it’s probably nothing big. WRONG, broken rod. My 122 I’ve had for years, it was pretty good but I think the creeper unit ate itself and PO drilled 482 holes all over frame and tin work. But it has all the goodies, sleeve hitch, spring assist, light package awesome tires and wheel weights. The 71 well it’s a pile I may just use fenders but they need a lot of work. I got started dismantling and pressure washing the 70 today. Going to get 122 tomorrow and do the same. https://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/...1&d=1591463044

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
