Peco vac?
I just bought one at an auction today, at a too cheap to pass up price. As badly as I hate the leaf harvest, I decided I had to have it. I was the only bidder. 3hp Briggs, haven't looked at engine code number for a date code yet. I came home with a Dakota load of other goodies, I have to go back for the Peco.
Previously I had a Trac vac but with the layout of my yard, the trailer setup was clumsy. I think this will work better, definitely better than raking. IDK what kind of tractor it was used with but if I had to guess it was a NF, as I got an old style pin on 38" triangle deck and a pair of 6-12 rear tires in another lot at the same sale. There was a blown up Cub spec K241 in the scrap pile that was sold here, I am trying to work with the buyer of that lot for this engine. How is this Peco supposed to mount up? I could fab/cobble something for sure but if parts are available to do it right and not crazily priced, I'd be interested. This would be going onto a 129 with a 42" triangle deck. |

This pic might be flipped but here’s what mine looks like sir. From about 4 years ago. Missing the top “hood” canopy. The tray that holds the bag and the blower motor Has “C” looking brackets that go around the axle tubes and top mount of tray hooks into the welded in bosses for the rear lift with spring loaded pins.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
