Paint it like a news paper.
Black on white and red all over,
or paint it John Deere green so it can cower in the weeds while the big red power machines go by.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm scheming a color scheme for it in my head now.

And as per request and never one to disappoint, here is the magnificent sparko'matic glow plugamajigger!

I'm told it is a normal plug, drilled out, nut welded to the top and glow plug threaded into the nut. In the time it took to fab this I could have driven to the store and got a proper plug. I'll give it this... I would have never thought of it. I guess if it worked I'd say it was clever. It however did not. At least we can all get a laugh from it right?

That's incredibly sad. Some people need to stay away from all things mechanical.

When you're ready to buy the correct spark plug, also buy a points file if you don't have one. Your auto parts shop should have one (your store may or may not). If unavailable, buy yourself a very fine needle file to use on your points. Very useful.

NAPA has this one:

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
