So y’all moldboard plow in the fall, then roto till in the spring? I have a Brinly moldboard, but I haven’t really got to use it yet. I bought my 125 last spring but it didn’t run well at all. I had to totally rebuild the engine. Just recently I had to split the tractor to replace the trunnion springs and make some other repairs. I live in Georgia, I’m not sure my soil would stay workable if I moldboard in the fall after the garden is done. Only “tiller” I have is a Troy Bilt super bronco, it’s only 16” wide and it isn’t heavy. I have a cinder block on the tine guard to make it penetrate better. Neighbor has a real Troy Bilt that was made in the late 70’s-early 80’s. It’s heavy and tills well, but only when it’s running…

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
