First of all, thank you for your service to this great country. Thank you for protecting our freedoms. I had only been out of high school six years when you retired. I still have school age children, but they love our goats, chickens, gardens and especially our Great Pyrenees dog.

I love history lessons and how things came to be. On the flip side of that, sometimes we have to hear about how things cease to exist; such as IHCC. It’s always sad when beancounters ruin a good company.

Well IH had Money Issues Before the UAW strike. The strike was the 2nd Nail In the coffin and then losing Hundreds of Million of dollars each quarter after the 172 day strike In the follow on years was the final Nail In the coffin for IH But had that strike Not Happened You May Not have seen IH sell off Cub Cadet

Navistar was purchased by Traton not Fiat. Traton is part of the Volkswagen group. New Scout perchance?

I think it's a Board Member on Volkswagen group is a Relative of the Agnelli Family who started FIAT is what I was thinking of I knew It was Volkswagen Group that Bought Navistar I don't Know why I was thinking Stellantis group had Bought it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
