It's been raining here. I'm glad we're getting the rain. I just hope the wind doesn't get bad. Glad all is well your way, Jay!

I got nothing here in Greensboro. Which is fortunate since I just seeded my back yard a few days ago

I will. I need to bring the sickle bar over. I am sure you have a few ditches that need to be cut. Stay safe.

Please do, Gary. We definitely have some places, where the sickle bar mower will work great!

Billy, it has been raining here all day. We're doing fine. The wind hasn't been bad at all, thankfully!

Glad to hear you're fairing well and getting some needed rain AC! I hope it turns a little more west so we can get some here. I mowed the tall pieces of grass today for the first time in 3 weeks and think I inhaled 2 pounds of dirt in the process. I hope we get the warm wet winter the farmers almanac calls for!

Storm veered east and we got less than an inch of rain, occasional gust of wind last night. Sun is out real bright. Looks like it is back to regularly scheduled programming, as the forecast is for 95 a couple days next week. Hope this thing stays offshore a bit as it passes over our northern friends.

We drove from St. Louis, mo. headed for Hilton head, SC. left Thursday 5pm.
Arrived at Chattanooga, TN about 1am and spent the night. Talked to our Hilton head friend Friday morning they had rain and strong winds. She told us to take our time Friday. We left Chattanooga around Noon for the rest of the trip and didn't hit rain until Macon, GA. We got in at Hilton head at 7:00pm the wind was blowing some and still had rain falling. But for the most part we drove in behind the storm. We did see some trees down and a lot of the Spanish moss knocked out of the trees. The weather here is cool and clear here this morning.
Everybody have a safe holiday and Thank you veterans.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
