We're Going To Get Hit
Looks like the storm is going to go right over us. Hope there will be no damage. I'll keep you guys updated, if we don't lose power.

Yeah they have really moved the storm track. Looks like you are in the 6-8" rain category? We are in 2" at the moment. Funny, at lunch time they said just a little rain at the beach, clearing by Sat morning. How many OCC guys down your way? The only one I can think of is CSX. Has the corn field in your backyard been harvested? It was rumored a few folks around here may start this week, we generally run 2-3 weeks behind you guys on crops. Stay dry, maybe you ought to go and ahead and run a pass over the yard with the sweeper before the wind and rain gets here!

We need some rain, John. Hopefully, it won't take long to dry out, so I can get some seat time...lol! I will definitely need the sweeper after the storm has moved out. The corn hasn't been harvested yet. It's ready though!

Speaking of big ones, this is the 20th anniversary of us getting hit by Fran. Hope we never have to endure such again.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
