Shipping a tractor to Europe?
Well everyone I have what may be one of the strangest questions on here. How would one go about shipping a tractor from the lower 48 to europe? what shipping carrier would be best suited for this? any input is appreciated. Thank you.

We had a guy from overseas buy a restored Ford from us but he handled the shipping, he had a guy come pick it up and deliver it to NY where it was loaded on a ship. It was headed to Iran or Iraq or one of those countries with alot of sand.

You need to find a company who ship oversea in container or crate but you better double and triple check if it's well secure because it's a ruff ride sometime..I know a few in Canada but none in US, what is the nearest port from PA? NY? New Jersey? I bet they all have a office and warehouse there.

I have shipped household goods via container. They load up multiple shipments to fill them up. It was the heat that did the most damage (can get hot inside!). I remember something like $0.80 per pound
Have shipped stuff strapped to pallets and it was beat to heck by the time it got there. One box had a forklift arm driven through it. Shipping vehicles is done all the time. Surprisingly cheap. Well, not cheap but not as bad as I feared (I shipped a pickup). No idea if they would take a small tractor. You might test the auto shipment carriers.

Well believe it or not I was figuring between 1500 and 1700 for this little venture, just for shipping. never know, I might end up making someone a happy camper. I'd imagine the potential buyer of my 1250 has a speculation of their own for shipping costs.
