Replacing Rear Coupler
Hey guys, so ignorant me didn't think through the details about how to swap the rear coupler assembly on a super (non cyclops). I purchased a coupler from Jeff (Thank you again), and its all ready to go except the driveshaft needs to come forward to get it into the bearing on the coupler.
Does anyone have a write-up on the process to do this? Any tips/tricks? Am i overthinking something? Thank you in advance.

IF....you are doing what it sounds like, simply remove all Spirol Pins on the rear end of the Drive Shaft. Slide everything forward. Once past the end of the Drive Shaft, slightly pull up, and take the Coupler off. Reverse your steps to re-assemble.

Support the input shaft on the hydro when you drive the spiral pin out.

I'd just pull the 6 bolts on the motor plate, slide the engine forward slip the shaft into the ball as you slide the engine back. Put the 6 bolts back in and mission accomplished.

I should have provided some more info. I was in a rush to get the super diesel back in service before this snow storm but missed one important step in my thought process. The spirol pin is already removed and free. As you said, everything needs to slide forward. I will remove the engine mount bolts, hoist the engine, and move everything forward a bit. From there, I can replace everything I need (fan, rag joints, etc.) and button everything up. Only one issue, I have no means of lifting the Kubota D950 until I buy a shop crane. Oh well, I ended up bringing the 1282 out of hibernation to move the snow. I don't want to rush, so I will take my time and fix it right the first time. Anyway, below are some pictures because I am a visual person. Hopefully this post can help the next noobie someday. LOL

take the pin out of the coupler that is on the drive shaft remove the coupler and fan put new fan on but don't fasten it yet slide the coupler on then the rubber disc and then the rear coupler sliding everything on till the rear coupler is flush wit the end of the drive shaft then align with the pump shaft and slide parts back to where they need to be and fasten everything together
