Can't remove Hydo Relief Valve

I need to remove this hydro relief valve to get it repaired. However, I can't get a wrench in there as it's blocked. How can I get this removed?

Both sides of this combo wrench won't work. I also tried a "slim" one that wasn't as thick, but I still can't get it in there.

I'm able to get it on the other one just fine.

Socket? Been a couple of years since I was able to wrench on a cub, so I forget the size socket.

Or a deep offset wrench.

Use a regular box end wrench instead of the gear wrench.
I've never had an issue removing those.

I find it would probably be a lot easier to remove if you pulled the whole fender pan off, so you could get to it from behind without the charge pump relief getting in the way.

I would try to very,very lightly tap on the valve ,while turning with a closed end wrench.There may be just a bit of paint holding back.A good wire brushing,with a shot of air is a necessary thing.I some times use PB blaster over night on any thing that wants to be difficult.I personally don't use Gear Wrench to break fasteners loose.Thats just me.

Use a box wrench,--- if you ain't man enough to loosen it,
whack the wrench with a hammer, cussing the person that over tightened it.
Those valves have "O" rings that seal it, it ain't a pipe thread that you tighten it till it quits leaking.
if the fender pan is in the way, remove it, git er done ,they be grass to be cut.

I'm not familiar with what you have going on. But, it sounds like your answer is a box end wrench, remove the belly pan and maybe penetrating juice.

Once in a while, you have to modify your tools to get the job done, by grinding, bending, welding or even making one.
