Hi Steve, sorry about your Haban troubles. I had a similar issue with a deck belt on my deck too. Just took it off to paint and for the life of me couldn’t get it back on right. I truly believe you just have the routing of it wrong. After I got it routed right I felt like an idiot not being able to slip it right on. Step back, think about how else it can go and still put tension on it . Good luck

I run a B114 on both my 375 60" Habans.. they are 117" outside circumference.. B series belts are 3" longer than the number indicates

Well, to put this drama to rest, I got the belt on that Greg (CubDieselFan) hooked me up with, I couldn't get it "over the hump" so I took the spring off and cut 2" off it, and tried again, and I barely got it on. It feels way too tight, I'm assuming it'll stretch out some, but the spring is max compressed even with the 2" cut off. I'm wondering if this isn't the right spring for it, or something. Something's wonky with this deck, but I got the belt on now... we'll see what happens going forward.

Maybe the idler has been changed and is not the right size.

What size should the idler pulley be? It is the same size as the one on my 50C. I’m guessing around 4”, I didn’t measure it. I was thinking that could be a possibility too,

I don't think the size of the Idler Pulley matters. The pulley is going to put tension in the spindle belt regardless of size.
