Default First time owner from Florida

Just bought this yesterday for 100 bucks. 1999 HDS2155 with a ch15s. Jus got it running this evening. All it needed was a fuel flush and a bowl clean. Had a new carb, fuel pump and battery. No springs on carb or governor. Runs awesome with manual left hand operating throttle. If anyone has some pics of where the springs go I would welcome the help.

Update: Got the whole spring linkage figured out.

Welcome to OCC! I wasn't able to find anything about the 2155 throttle springs, but I'm no expert on those newer tractors. I'm better suited to my narrow frames. However, I'm certain there's someone here who can help you out with this
Narrow Frames: '70 107, '71 106, '70 147 (project), 105 (parts), 38"x2, 42" & 50" decks, and now an Original!

MTD's: '90-something 1863 w/ 54" deck

Non-Cubs: '79 JD 111, '70 JD 110 w/ deck+1-stage blower, antique single-cylinder engines (B&S, Clinton, Tecumseh, etc) & some misc. lawn tractors/push mowers/yard equipment

Great deal on the Cub
Maybe someone has a 2155 that could take a picture of the springs for you.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
