The ever evolving forecast has us in the 1-8" of snow range. Been here all my life and never remember snow this early. Got a dusting over 30 years ago on Christmas, that was pretty cool. We did have a bad ice storm in mid December, maybe 15-17 years ago. So, I guess its time to go fetch the 124 and bring it up to the house tomorrow. Me and a lawnmower with a snow blade---this could get entertaining.

All sun in the forecast here until NEXT FRIDAY! That hasn't happened since 2017 I think...

We're all set for the white stuff if/when it comes...

Have fun Sam. My BX is ready if we actually get any snow this year. We haven’t had any snow accumulations over 2” the last three winters.

Yep the locals are in major Crap the pants mode. I'm just gonna sit back watch the tube and deal with it tomorrow. I'm used to real snow storms after living most of my life in CT.

We (Allen and me) just got rain in our area. But other parts of the Old North State got hammered. So much for globe warming! I am 68 and lived in NC all my life (with the exception of the 2 years Uncle Sam sent me to a place I didn't want to be!) and have never seen snow this early!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
