Oil pouch?
Went to pick up my Low Ash oil from the local Cadet dealer today. Opened it up when I got home. Its in POUCHES!! Not certain how this is going to work, may be easier to pour. HMMMM, may be NASA approved--isn't that how the astronauts get their meals?

It may be easier to pour, but probably also easier to spill. Is there any way to measure how much you're putting in?

Although I never had oil in bag containers, my concern is how to store what's left over? Safely and without a mess.

I think it will be okay John, it has a hole in it already for hanging it on a IV bag pole.

I hope the cap screws back on! If not I’ll save a couple of my old style bottles and empty in there.

Well the Onan is the only one that has a consumption issue but it can go 2-3 tanks of fuel before topping off. The IV has s not a bad idea for hydro oil.

OH, I did not see the cap! That might be alright. I was afraid these bags had a ziplock

Call me old fashion, but I would like to see the Motor Oil Cans go back to the Tin Metal type. I still have the "stick spouts". Once you are done, you can throw the can in the recycle bin.

I still have 2 metal quarts of Castrol "R" 2 stroke oil.
(The bean oil that smells soooo good) Seems like motor oil went to paper cans in the early 60's (Sunoco did anyway) |

I bought close to 2 dozen of the openers for like a $1 each from an IH dealer. Think they had the part# on them, but no IH marking. Gave some away to friends, sold some to an NOS parts supplier, probably kept a couple for my collection. Need to see if I can find them. Bet Lew ain't got one of those!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
