When Did Front Wheels Lose Their Grease Zerks?
I noticed the 1811's front wheel bearings making a slight noise when I had it jacked up to grease the front kingpins. These rims have no accommodation for grease zerks, and have matched USA bearings, making me think they're original.
When did the grease zerks go away? Even my newer cyclops have them, unless someone replaced the wheels with the tires or something like that along the line?

Neither my 1986 model year 1811, or 1989 1050 had the zerks ever. Those are a Cyclops feature, or a service replacement wheel feature. My 782 has the front wheels from a Cyclops and it has the zerks.

Next time I'm out in the shed I'll have to see if my 1050 has them. Pretty sure it had the original wheels & tires on it when I got it.

I have the paper parts book for the first generation cyclops tractors. All of them have the zerk fittings on the front rims.
