Default 1972 Cub Cadet 149 Parts needed

Hi Everyone,
I have recently got a 1972 Cub Cadet 149 IH from my father-in-law. it is in awesome shape i will post some pics when i get a chance. The Tractor came with mower deck, snow blade, snow blower and A1 Rotatory Tiller. I got the tractor running like a top and purchased a new belt (143 7/8") however when i went to hook up the tiller i have realized i am missing some parts I need a Lift bar, https://www.ihccw.com/index.php?rout...7&tag=LIFT+BAR and a PTO Clutch Rockshaft Assembly https://www.ihccw.com/index.php?rout...oduct_id=13129 . the site i found these on appear to be sold out . My Question is does anyone know were i can purchase these or does anyone know where i can get a diagram with measurements of these parts so i can make them myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Welcome fellow Michigander!
You can try posting a free want add on here,
also can check social media as well as ebay and other sources.
Very possible someone here will have what you need.
The 149 is a nice all around tractor and better that it belonged to your wife's Dad

Thank You for the advice, i am really enjoying this site!!! i will check those out. Yes my father in law had this tractor for about 30 years and it has been siting under a trap at his place for the past 10 years i am really excited use the tiller in the garden this year. I have a 1962 John Deere 3010 ( I know it isn't Red) but it was my fathers, and i inherited it. and i use it to plow and disk the garden, but i use a walk behind tiller when i till. hoping to use this instead.

look at the top of the page "parts by Jeff" he makes things that are no longer available, he might have what you need.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
