Default 3165 wont start

My friend was mowing with their 3165, shut it down, and went back later and It won't start now. It has power, but I'm sure one of the safety's is out of adjustment or something. Anyone have a wiring diagram? I'm guessing its brake switch, seat switch or something. I have to go look at it Sunday and was hoping to be a little informed before I started looking.

Thanks.

Don't be too quick to blame the safety switches.
Very few ever go bad, though many are bypassed for some reason.
There are many more common problems.

Relays, solenoids, bad connections at starter or battery.
Bad grounds, chafed wiring, faulty ignition switch.
I've fixed many chafed wires and replaced many starters and solenoids.
I've only ever found 1 faulty safety switch in 10 years of working on riding mowers.

Here are some more schematics that show the flow in different modes. Download the 3000 series service manual and they are near the back. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Now that is a smart approach and what we keep telling people.
No need to load up a parts cannon and shoot your tractor, hoping to hit the problem.
Test and trouble shoot to find the problems.
Glad your mowing again

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
