We use an International 140 to cultivate corn and there's a restored Super A my uncle and grandpa did that just sits. We're a Ford/New Holland farm. NH is the same as Case IH these days anyway.

140s are good tractors the state used to use them in this area to mow roadsides.

Have a 1947 "Circle" Cub, which was my first tractor, given to me by my wife and youngest daughter as a surprise birthday gift back in 2009. Bought my neighbor's 1948 Cub sitting in his fencerow and put a Grosshart Posthole Digger on the back.
Current project is a 1942 Farmall AV high crop. In about a hundred pieces in my barn. |

The 140 gets just regular maintenance but always works great. Tough little tractor.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
