Wiring
Morning all,
I have a wiring issue on a different tractor then my CC, hope that is OK here. I hired someone to wire up a 2 flat plug to the rear so I couldrun my sprayer, they failed and now they are gone, go figure. Here is what I see. From the key we have 3 wires running to a connector. White with Black stripe. Black with white stripe. Black with yellow. Running back to my plug we have the 2 wires, red and white. Red is hooked up to black with yellow, This is hot and running through a15 amp fuse, it is hot to the plug and working. They have hooked the white to the black with white and it is not grounding properly and it is not working at the plug. My solution was going to be cut the white and ground it somewhere on the frame and forget about it. Not sure if that's a good idea or the right idea so thought I would run it by you. My confidence with electrical is not always real high. Gotta have the tractor running as mowing and spraying season is in full gear, at least till next month when we get our first freeze. Yes the sprayer pump works, on my CC that is. Thanks Ken

When I hook up an auxiliary power supply I connect the ground directly to the negative on the battery and the hot directly to the positive on the battey. I put a fuse on the positive side. I don't running anything extra through the Cub ignition switch.

Thank you guys much. I was actually going to do it the way you have said
and decided to hire a pro. You helped me sort some thinking out on it and we are rolling on. Thanks again Ken
