Some of Joe's prices do seem a little high. Try this Guy, scoish@windstream,net. He has posted that, he bought a bunch pf OEM cub parts.

Great find, They're great little mowers that chew up and spit out tall thick grass without skipping a beat. my son bought one (an 80) off ebay $51.00 runs, drives and mows. The only thing wrong with it was a chewed up belt!
He also has a 111 he made into a puller.

Be patient and keep your eyes peeled, there was a hydro on ebay a few months back but it was in Ohio.

Good luck

Well, after searching all year a fellow member of this forum called and said he was headed my way with a used rear end for this Cadet. It was good visiting with him. I put the new hydro pump in yesterday and the tractor works like it should. boy, this thing is kind of fun! I threw the mower deck on and mowed some grass; after that I got the #2 sweeper out and picked up some leaves. I also got an extra set of rear rims/tires with the rear end, so I mounted the ag tires I had for it and put them on. Looks like a beast! Pics soon!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
