If I had to evacuate, I would head west to southwest and go to Atlanta.
Make reservations NOW just in case and cancel if not using it.

The worst rain and destruction will be from the northeast quadrant of the storm.

We would be beaten, shot, burned and hung for transporting fuel like that here in NY! Pisses me off that the way law makers strangle us up here in NY keeping us from doing what so many other states find common place. Hope ya end up not needing all that fuel.. Good luck in the hurricane, Stay safe!

It was a one-use MH axle, and one-use set of tires,,
I have a neighbor that sets MH's and double wides,,

He usually has an axle when a neighbor needs it,,,

That’s what I thought. Lots of guys use them around here to make home made trailers but don’t realize how stiff they ride empty.

As I was heading to the store at about 8:15 this morning, a state trooper was finishing up a deer hit report (I guess, there was a deer in the ditch,,,)

He backed out and followed me for about 3 miles before he turned off,,,

so, I guess we are OK here,,,

I have been pulling that trailer 1-2 times a year for about a decade,,,

The gas is mostly for the generator/welder,, and the ATV's,,
Chainsaw and leaf blower get 93 octane non-ethanol,,

I figure if we loose power, I can keep the refrigerators cold for 2 weeks,,,

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
