John and Allen,
Stay safe and let us know if you need anything. Just finished up gassing up and running the generator. Wife just made the grocery run and gas up the car. And I put one more cub in storage. Covered the pool and picked up everything in the yard. Got room for one more cub in my storage building. Got the chainsaw out just need to sharpen the chain. I just hope I don't need any of them! Everyone stay safe. Gary

Wife and I just returned from a Holden Beach vacation. On the isle, there are many nice beach houses ( don't rent one with out a swimming pool, glad we did )! Beautiful weather, no riff-raff, and the beach is so much better and nicer than Myrtle Beach!
I'll never understand why I'd want to live in a Hurricane Ally, but its so nice down there, lol! |

Wife and I have been trying to decide what is next for us as she retires next year. I have been retired for a couple years. We have been to North Carolina Outer Banks a few times. Very nice. Generally out of affordable price range for a retirement home, we still were looking. The storm possibility scares us. I hope for the best for anyone in the storm path.

I hope the rain doesn't linger through Virginia and up into our area in south central PA. We've had a really wet summer, and several occasions of flooding already, my basement flooded twice in three days back in July. Every time there's a mist now there are flood watches. Our area has had enough Weather Channel videos of water flowing through the streets.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
