"$&@;;:! Kids!"
So a couple days ago while mowing the back yard I spun a bearing on the idler on the cut deck. So I parked it by the back porch till I could make room in the shop. Fast forward to this morning. I come home from work, when I go to put tractor in shop to start repairs. I find that the gas cap is off and the kids play shovel is next to rear wheel and a significant amount of dirt and sand is all over the seat, controls, ect. And down in the gas tank!!!!! Not the welcome home I was looking for! Just had to share.

Your kids or "good neighbor" kids ? ? ?
Makes a difference when you get your cub running again if you can run 'em down or not....... I know you really can't do that, but just thinking about it.........

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
