149 Headlights
What lights from Harbor Freight did you put on your 149? I'm painting mine and want something cheaper than O.E.M.
Thanks

The OEM headlights that IH/CC used was the #4411. It can be had at any Auto Parts Store and numerous places on line.

See if Larsen lights can switch over the sealed beam number Roland posted (I think that's a pretty standard item) to LED, you won't regret it if you plan on working at night.

I think the original thread that was dug up was referring to tail lights. If so I think these have been used.

Any 12 VDC PAR36 bulb will work. You can get them most anywhere. Home improvement stores have them in their landscape lighting section.

IF, you are looking for the Rear Lights, then you will need: IH-545616-R1. They are NLA from Cub Cadet, so online searching will be needed..
IF, you are going for aftermarket, just about any "marker light" will work.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
