Default Got a little more gravity enhancement!

So I found these little suitcase weights. Right at 30 lbs each. Got em for a can't pass it up type of price.

I have had a receiver hitch on my 782 for awhile now so decided why not take a old straight hitch and make a hanger for them. Don't mind the welds it's been awhile lol

Nice score on the weights!

I don't know how many bolts holds your hitch on, but if it just mounts where the stock hitch does, I'm not sure I'd hang 120# off of it.....

its one of the ones that xtream sold. 5 total I think. And I've been considering using anot her rear plate to weld it to so I can utilise all the rear cover bolts

I'd attach it to the frame. You can use larger bolts up top, and you won't risk tearing up something on the rear end.

I may do that. I want to make a cover that wraps around anyway.

I have a rear hitch cover that came off of a 1864. (For a bagger. Looks like a 3pt plate without the rockshaft.) Been "modified" already, and it ain't purdy.... I'd sell it cheap if I can find it and your interested.

Cubby, nice addition to the 782 and the weight bracket looks good and robust. Just a thought, when you go to remount your receiver take a look at the ground clearance. For my terrain here in NY, I needed around 12 inches under my weight box so I didn't get hung up while transitioning hills and such.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
