Mr. sunshine in a can, it cut nice, no uncut areas, but the partial baffle missing on the left side made another row, blades were sharp, just IIWII.
I did rebuild the PTO, and all the spindles turn freely, actually the deck is rather quiet if I may say so.

Pulled the cub out of the garage. Started on a new project today. Not a cub, still IH. 1952.

Pulled fenders off the 682 and my newest 782 project to swap a non-leaky valve for a leaky valve so I can keep my mowing and landscaping schedule up while I send the valve off to get rebuilt.

The fender/pan are in really really bad shape on it, but once it’s off, the tractor doesn’t look half bad.

Looking good there Master of Lew. Your grass looks nice and green, ours a nice and brown. Dryer than a popcorn fart here.

So I put a different set of tires on the 1250, a set of 6-12s. I think it kind of looks good.

I reassembled the seat and rear fenders of my 102. It's been out of service since winter because the shifter broke. I welded it long ago and just got it back in service today. Washed up the 102, 107, and the zero-turn.

Default Another 44A Deck getting some love

So I am trading one of my 44A decks and a carriage this weekend for a complete 104 tractor . Since I am loosing a 44a and I have one ready to be fixed up I started on this one today. Over all it is pretty solid. All the spindles seem good but I will go through them anyway. I have all the covers and parts for it.. Heres a few before pics.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
