Grandmothers are very special to all of us. I pray that the Cecil's are able to spend some time with her and tell her how special she is. I was alone with mine when she passed away peacefully at the age of 101. What a wonderful life she had. May God bless them and their family.

We will have them in our hearts and prayers. That is always a rough time in life.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words. They really do mean a lot to us. My grandmother is 86 years young and a strong Christian prayer warrior who is ready to go home and be with my grandfather. We don't really expect her to make it thru the weekend. But, that is ok. I am at peace with that. I got the wonderful privilege to be flown down in a private plane yesterday from NC to GA to spend some time with her. Even though she is not awake, I know in my heart that she knew I was there when I said my name. We are going down again next week as we originally planned. Thanks again for all the prayers. Please keep them coming as we have some difficult times ahead.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
