drive clutch assembly
Hello. I have a 1200 that I am restoring and have a question about the spacer on the drive clutch. Does the teaser spring go inside the spacer? Does the small end of the spacer face the throwout bearing or does the larger end of the spacer face the throwout bearing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I looked at the manual and it looks like the small end faces the throwout but on the parts diagram it looks like it goes the other way. Thanks, Earl

I thought that is the way it went but was not sure because I did look at that same diagram. In the service manual it shows the teaser spring in the big end of the spacer. I really appreciate your help. This site is great.

Wow freak out, that diagram is wrong. I don't know that these people have ever let me down before about such things. I should have looked at it first.
