73 headlight panel
Anyone have close-up pictures of the headlights on a 73? I don't want to spend the money to buy a headlight panel and thought maybe I could make something functional that didn't look too bad. Also, what does the light switch look like?

on a 124, it's a push-pull type mounted on the left side of the tower. The hole will be there already (small, 1/2").

Hey, as was mentioned, the HL needs a 4.250 "hole to sit in. If you find the center of your panel, measure and mark 3.750" to each side, then find center from top to bottom. w/hole saw on drill press, make your 4.25" holes, I'm gonna try 4 and 3/16" on a test panel first to see finished hole.
then if you have a mig, tac 2"L 10x32 bolts to attach the rings, and thats it. You can buy the correct retainers if you want factory correctness. Post pics if you finish before me.
