Default LP head for K321

I have run an LP head on a stock 12 horse before with good results and would like your opinions on running it on a 14 horse.

The group I would pull with and did so when I used to pull when my Dad was still around, the stock class is bone stock 4000 rpm. No 18 horse cam, no port or polish. LP head is ok as is milling the head as long as you stay out of the combustion chamber.

Thanks, Randy

if you start with the small exhaust valve 14 block its a bolt on, if it has the larger valve then you run into a clearance problem with the head hitting the valve but if you drill the bolt holes out larger and when you tighten the head pull it towards the valves it will clear

Thank you Don! I haven't even looked to see what valves it has yet, just covering the bases for next winter.

No ethenol 93 octane OK to run with that combo? Thanks

Randy

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
