If Im staying around town I'll use my 86 W100. These old square Dodge are my first love and I've had several over the 21 years I've been driving. Since I cant afford to take it down the highway due to its drinking problem, I'll use the 04 3500 for longer trips. It consistently pulls 23-24 mpg and cant even tell a cub is behind it. I use my 5x10 ramp gate behind either of them.

Since then I got a new one after hauling 350 plus cubs in the old one.
I never saw that thread. I guess I could have just added to that.

I really like your W100. I'm looking for either one of those or a squarebody Chevy. The only problem is, around here, older trucks like that either need a full restoration, or the nice ones cost way too much money.

Big Red is out to pasture but she was replaced with Pearl, a 2018 short bed Chevy. I still have the cub.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
