Engine out, and the roller has been cleaned up nicely. Time to go over it with a fine-tooth comb and make a list of what I need.

I suggest you check the common issues...
1 Trunnion fix 2 steering box 3 steering rod ends 4 points/etc 5 head gasket 6 rag joints I'm not saying they'll all be problems, just things to keep an eye on. I have a 1650, needed most of these. I haven't checked the head gasket and points yet because it has been running pretty well. Best of luck and enjoy! Andy

Pulled the wiring harness this evening, it's in pretty good condition overall. This started off as I was just going to freshen up a few things and use it. It's going to be a full-blown winter project now, that I just happened to get an early start on...😂
