Default Prayers for comfort and peace

Our friend Gary is losing his battle with cancer. He has been a father figure to my wife over the last 9 yrs since she lost her own dad to cancer as a teen. We have spent many holidays and memorable times with Gary and his wife. I've been praying that he is comfortable in the last few days his is with us and that he may feel peace as he passes (lots of drama with his kids). His wife has been by his side for a week now and they think it won't be long. I'm not looking for miracles, just comfort for him, his wife, and my wife. He is a good man with a great heart.
Thanks

Bill

Thoughts and prayers going out to Gary and you Bill. Its a shame that drama happens during these times, some people forget what they should be grateful for, sorry to hear that.

Prayers for all involved.

I hope he's taken advantage of hospice. Those folks make the loved one's final time much easier. They were truly a God sent during my FIL's last days.

Thank you guys, we got word that he passed a few hrs ago. He is at peace now, I pray that god was waiting with open arms. I don't mean to sound callus, but he keep holding on, longer than hospice and doctors had thought. His wife had been up for over the last 24 hrs thinking the end was near. She left to go home and sleep and he passed shortly after. It's almost like he was waiting for her to leave so she was not there, I dunno.
I've been blessed in that this is the first time someone close to me has passed away in my adult life; my grandparents all passed when I was young. Ones perspective totally changes, I'm sure you know what I mean.

I Thank You for keeping us in your prayers.

Bill

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
