I didn't know this. I've been painting them the same color.

The sprayed panels look GOOD.

If I repaint my 800, I'll do it the same way...paint black, mask off, then paint white. If you don't get the masking tape on straight at first, you can always realign it. With decals, hmmmmm not so many chances to realign.

Regards

Thankyou fellas...so i wet sanded the parts last night...normally wouldnt be that way with a single stage, and an enamel, and for a tractor, but just cant help it i guess...looks like one could shave in it now...just decal and assembly or vice versa...as far as the color scheme seems to be; the wheels and sheet metal all look to be the same 935 white...the tractor is original paint, but as the rims are 8"×5.5" (or whatever they are) and 12"×8.5" which i believe didnt originally come on a 1250, im not for sure as to their original color...the seat though definitely seems to be a lighter white than the rest...i have tried to search for the color specs, but to no avail...does anyone know the color layout for a 1975 quietline??

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
