Im looking foward to next years show.
I have to scan some pictures to see if I can find the 126 and 800....too many Cubs to pick out your uncle's 48 though, unless it's next to your CCs.

I was there also. Had a nice chat with another forum member there from IL with his 70.
Was disappointed in the overall turnout though after driving 400 miles. Figured it would be WAY bigger, kinda like Portage, WI in July. Pretty hard to beat that one here in the Midwest I guess.

Was glad I didn't bring any equipment.
Nice enough show though with some nice equipment.
Hardly any vendors and only a couple with Cub stuff.
Of course I was only there Friday AM, camped out in the campground west on Hwy 72. Nice place.
Saw no need to stick around another day though (hope I was wrong), and headed west on 72/32 over to Lebanon to visit in-laws. Great drive also by the way. Enjoyed every mile of it!!

Next up, Plow Day at Roanoke, IL on the 19th & 20th.
Weather is looking up with no rain in the forecast here at least for the next 10 days!! WOO HOO!!!!

Attendance and participants have been down the last few years. It used to draw over 200 tractors with a lot of vendors. There were a few who showed up on Saturday, about 10 tractors or so, and maybe one or two vendors. The show used to be sponsored by JP Tractor Salvage, but the last few years they withdrew and one lady has been hosting the show by herself without any sponsors. The more participants the more the show will grow again to what it used to be. I'm hoping to bring both of my Farmall Cubs next year, and if I have a IH built CC, it will also be there.

I was going to go look at the 108 later today, but this one came up on my radar. The ad says it runs, but needs and I quote, "a car battery". Also the ad says "no cutting parts just plow". This one has been listed for 30 days now, so it's a good possibility it's been sold and the ad just not deleted.

I would rather have a narrow frame, and definitely I would rather have a 100.

That one would clean up nicely. I like the 100 also!

Nice looking 100, but the proper answer here is to get both

I was going to say the same thing. Everyone needs at least two.

I have too many other tractors already, so definitely I'm not in the market for more than one.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
