Thanks, Allen.

I see my original post got a bit side tracked. To try and steer it back on topic, I noticed on the front end shot of the 108, that it's missing the headlight panel. I wonder how easy those are to find nowadays.

You wont have any trouble finding a light set, I actually have the mesh style headlight assembly available.

I'm near a small town called Bonne Terre, which is about 60 miles south of the St. Louis metro area.

Did you attend Cubarama a couple of weekends back? I had my '47 Farmall Cub there and I was there most of the day Friday and half the day Saturday. I'll be there again next year unless something comes up unforseen.

That's what I was thinking when I said "wrong tires." Not what I'd put on a CC. But, to each their own, for sure.

I'll be going Saturday to look at the 108. I would have been there yesterday evening, but the seller got off work too late for me to make the small (an hour) trip. I have to get up too early (3 am) to be out too late in the evenings.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
