The NF fan is aluminum, not steel, and it has a guard around it. It also has less blades than the plastic fan and is pretty crude. I would think the plastic fan moves a lot more air.

I like Mountain Heritage's Idea. Just go up to The Wal Mart and grab a couple kids. or maybe put the blade out in front. I don't live to far from the state prison boot camp those guy walk around in the woods and pick up sticks for about 14 hours a day, real pros. I think you could swing a deal with the D.O.C. I see them around town all the time doing a great job. I would imagine that 2 or 3 drill instructors watching over you with 12 gauges is good incentive!

Heck, you might even get away with just letting them drive the Cub for the afternoon and wouldn't cost you anything!
I guess I am a little more hesitant to run my Cub through stuff like that - I figure that's what the 19 year old ATV is for, built for that kinda crap! Once the trail has been broke and clear sailing - then the Cub can show its face.

I am that young lad im 16... and dont have money for a atv.

But I bet you'd have money for some steel screen.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
