Been about 6.5, 7 hours one way a couple times. Made a couple trips to Niagara Falls and Rochester area from southern WV... Good times.

That would depend on how nice it is, how cheap it is and how badly I needed one.

I have a 1872 with a 50" deck that is holy, but still mows. Haban is $300 & 4.5 hrs away.

I drove 850 miles last spring to buy a new truck and picked up a Cub along the way...

Across the street is about as far as I would go for a haban. I hate them. They are heavy and awkward to deal with. I am told parts are not easy to find and I think they are a big stress on the tractor and engine. Should I tell you how I really feel. I once went 4 hours to get 3 50C decks for $300.00. Over the years I have bought 27 Supers and never went more than 2 1/2 hours but, lately they have been very scarce in my area. So if I want more I guess I will have to travel.

I don't remember the mileage but we spent about 14 hours in the truck when we went to michigan and picked up the 126 and a 107....we did swing through Toledo and have supper at Tony Pacos...I enjoy the road trip and hope that never changes.....

If my Haban deck went bad, and knowing how good it works and the amount of time it saves cutting our grass, I'd go a great distance to replace it.
My furthest trip was 29? miles round trip, and that was about far enough for me.

Zippy it is a shame you will only go 29 miles. I have either scraped or given away at least 12 Haban decks.
