For free, anything I make would be profit. The XLT is definitely not going anywhere. Not sure about the Sport yet. I actually found the original receipt from the XLT, it was just over $6000 in December of 1994. The guy who bought that new now has a 2016 Polaris, he said that was over $10k, used, 1 year old.

The XLT is going to be for trail riding, the Sport is probably just going to be for around the house if I keep it. Theres no way that would keep up with my dads Ski-Doo on the trails . I was told by the guy I got them from that he used to have to cut trails with the that because the XLT would just sink in deep snow.

We have plenty of snow now. I have been riding the XLT a bit, so far so good. It’s much nicer than the old Yamaha that I was given last year. Lots of power, more comfortable, and that triple just sounds awesome.

Here in western PA we haven't had enough snow for sleds for a few years. I don't own one cause I think it's a waste to store and maintain something I'd never get to use. I remember about 20yrs ago we got a ton of snow and they issued a state of emergency and everybody I know was out riding around town on their sleds.

Lack of snow is part of the reason my dad sold this. That and the fact that him and his riding friends all now had a wife and kids and not as much time to go riding. So far this year has been pretty good. We have had enough snow to ride pretty much since December. Not always enough for serious riding, but enough for putting around the yard at least Now we have more than enough. Hopefully it stays like this the next few years and we don’t have to travel too far to find snow.
