Default Pushing / Pulling an 1811

Is there a relief valve on the Hydro that I can use to make it so that
I can move the machine when the engine is not running ??
Thanks

The 1811 should have auto release valves so you can push/pull it with little/slight resistance.

The 1811 DOES have a Sundstrand Hydro Unit that has "automatic" relief valves, that relieves pressure, as soon as the engine is turned off.

Just don't push faster than a slow walk and not for a long distance.

I would not be able to push it faster than a very slow walk , and more than a very short distance . It has considerable resistance , but does move , and I can feel / hear the relief valves , I think .
So if something were to happen at some distance from " home " , apparently I'd need to use a Dollie or some such to rescue it . Bah !
Or take out the driveshaft .

I only use it to move a Car trailer around . Maybe I should get a trailer mover of some sort .........

Thanks for the responses .

The trick is towing it slow, as slow as a toddler walks.
I've towed one of mine about 500' with no problems, but it was a slow tow, and it had been running when the coil died, so the slippers on the pistons in the hydro, were well lubed.
No you can't hear the relief valves working, they just allow the oil to bypass.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
