1772 Restoration Project
So it begins.....
My son (14) stripped out his second drive shaft coupler this weekend. Along with some other issues and not to mention a pandemic he decided it was a good time to restore his baby. He is going to need some help along the way, so thanks in advance. You guys rock! Here is wishing him luck and enjoyment. A journey of a thousand miles starts with the first bolt. Proud Papa Cub

Hey guys,
I've been working on painting my 1772. I was trying to put new axle seals on and replace the axle housing that has a chip in it. I am having trouble getting them off. I've seen that some people can just pull the whole thing off but mine won't budge. thx everyone for the help. Ben

You need to remove the rear cover and take the clips off the ends of the axles in the differential, then the axles and tubes will slide off.
