Maybe in Texas just cause there isn't as many cubs you might
get 1K for it but I doubt it. But trying to sell it is free if you put it on Craigslist
It cant hurt to try. I know it should be worth that and more if compared to a new one. Not trying to bring you down just letting you know from my expieriences
Thanks Terry. I anticipate that you're right. It's been in storage for almost two years already. The bummer was that the entry door is a 36" door so I had to buy a set of skinny wheels and tires to get it in the door. It looks ridiculous the way it sits. I can't wait to pull it out and get the right wheels back on. I just don't have any need for it these days.

I think you have the price set about right from your point of view. Put the decals on it and try to sell it. If you have good documentation on what you did, you may get close to your mark. I do know the 147 I brought home, sucked many many dollars from the wallet. Get a wider locker, put the correct wheels back on, shine it up and take it to some tractor shows!
Regards,
Chris

DVD #8 is my favorite of the CC movies, he also has a good one of the Original in 1962; the only IH movie made about the Original's.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
